Western Border Outpost Project (WBOP)

Hall, in a joint venture with ICON and Reeves, was engaged to construct critical maritime and support infrastructure for the Solomon Islands Western Border Outpost.

The project included the construction of a 42m jetty, 17m wharf, seawall and barge ramp to support maritime operations and strengthen border security.

The new facility has been delivered in a remote and logistically complex environment to support Guardian-class patrol boats and strengthen maritime operations in the Solomon Islands.

Designed to enable the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force to safely patrol its western border, the facility will improve border security and maritime surveillance while supporting the region’s economic development and stability.
